Student/Hobbyist of Photography

I consider myself as a student and hobbyist of photography. I enjoy learning the use of different types of equipment (cameras, lenses, filters, lights, jells, smoke machines, etc…) for creating and capturing different varieties and styles of portraits. I am currently studying photography through on-line classes. In addition, I am learning various real-world techniques from experience professionals via on-line photography workshops. This training also consist of using Adobe Lightroom CC, Photoshop and Camera Raw for post-production purposes. To apply what I am learning, I have setup a fully equipped small In-Home Studio for creating different types and styles of portraits. With this said, I am always looking for volunteers to pose for portraits in either my In-Home Studio or outside locations. In return, I provide them with a select number of digital copies that have been processed and cropped to thier requested photo size of less than or equal to 11x14. As the budget allows, I also provide some monetary payment for some personal projects. For more information, navigate from the Main Menu by clicking on "Contact Ervin.”

I only shoot clean family oriented type pose.

I am a native-born Texan who grew up and graduated High School in Copperas Cove, TX. I have attended several different colleges and Universities around the state where I have received an Associate of Applied Science in the field of Electronic Technology at Central Texas College and also earned multiple certificates from Lone Star College, formally North Harris County College studying in the field of Computer Science and Network Technology.

I have been happily married for 44 years to my long-time friend and wonderful wife Tammie. I am the proud father of 2 amazing children and grandfather of 6. I also have two fur babies to keep me and my wife from being calledreferred to as “empty nesters”.

After 46 years in the IT field, I recently retired from the largest Financial Institution Services company in the world as a Sr. Voice Network Engineer and I am now able to spend more time on my hobbies such as photography.
